SUMMER BIBLE CAMP

Summer Camp Registrations are happening NOW!

Sending your child to Bible Camp this summer will be the best gift of faith that you can offer them.  Faith grows by leaps and bounds at summer Bible camps!  If you or your child has not experienced a week of summer Bible camp before, its time to get your child signed up!!  There is nothing better than running around with HOLY PLAY loving Jesus with wonderful young adult faith role models for a week outdoors!

The kids stay in cabins, eat in the dining hall, and spend their days with high-energy and engaging worships, Bible studies led by college-age counselors, playing games, fun activities, water time, crafts, hikes and evening campfires.  There is something for everyone to love at camp - from the time outdoors, to quiet activities, to high energy activities.

Salem is a member congregation of Camp Vermilion of Voyagers Lutheran Ministry (VLM).  At Camp Vermilion our kids get immersed in Lutheran theology and Lutheran worship throughout the week, solidifying what they are experiencing and learning every day at Salem and in our families.

Register before April 1 for an early-bird discount!  Talk to Pastor Beth before you register.  If we can partner new campers with returning campers, we can get an additional discount for some!

The cost of camp should not be the reason your child does not experience a week of HOLY PLAY at Bible Camp.  If sending your child/ren to camp is a financial stressor on your family, Camp Vermilion/VLM offers camp scholarships for anyone whose family needs the financial support for making camp happen.  Camp Vermilion/VLM will cover the difference between what your family can pay and the cost of camp.  Payment plans also available if that is easier on your family's finances.  Follow this link to download and fill out the form for a scholarship.

If you are not sending a child to camp but would like to support one who is, talk to Pastor Beth about giving a special offering towards the cost of camp.
