On May 10, 2016 the Call Committee at Salem Lutheran Church formally presented their
pastoral call of choice, Ms. Beth Pottratz, to the Salem Church Council. The council
voted unanimously to accept the Call Committee’s recommendation.
On May 17, the Salem Church Council met with Ms. Pottratz and a compensation
package was mutually agreed upon. On Sunday June 5, 2016 Salem will host a “meet
and greet” after worship for Ms. Pottratz. This will provide the congregation a chance to
meet and talk with Ms. Pottratz. It will be a pot luck dinner, so bring a dish to share!
The congregation has the final say in the pastoral call process and on June 12, 2016
Salem Lutheran Church will hold a vote to officially call Ms. Beth Pottratz as the next
pastor of Salem. If the congregation votes to call Ms. Pottratz, a mid to late summer
installation is planned.
If you have any questions, please contact me. God bless.
